About Me

Welcome, I’m Angela!

I caught the travel bug at a young age. I have enjoyed traveling with my husband, as a family with our three children, and creating fun solo trips. My mission is to visit all 50 states and travel the world confidently! 

This wasn’t always the case for me, feeling confident traveling. However, the more I put into planning, having fun with the planning, feeling good about the research I did, asking others questions, tapping into resources, and traveling more frequently, the more confident I became.

As a child, I loved dreaming about traveling and thought being a pilot or a truck driver would be the way to see different parts of the country. However, as an artist, I chose to go into graphic design until marrying and adding three awesome kids to our family.

My husband and I agreed that we wanted to be parents who gave our kids experiences more than things. We had many fun adventures in our home state of Colorado, but we also planned trips starting with our first child. We visited grandparents in Florida and family in Texas and tagged along with my husband on business trips on both coasts. I am so grateful for all these experiences!

As our family grew, we continued with trips to national parks, enjoyed Disney and Universal, took road trips to other states to explore, drove along the West Coast, and our most recent trip to Hawaii.

One thing I appreciate about our parenting is traveling with each of our kids individually or two at a time. It gives us even more one-on-one time and makes special memories. My kids are young adults now, but we still do this. It’s very special.

My Goals

My goal with this blog is to share and encourage others who want to plan and take trips they have been thinking or dreaming about but haven’t taken. It’s also a place to journal about my past and upcoming adventures!

My goal in traveling is to visit every state in the USA by the end of 2028 and take more trips as a solo traveler.
